Megumi Nakamura (they/she) is a New York based director, actor, and writer hailing from San Francisco, California. They have spent their training and career in the pursuit of fostering safe spaces for open dialogue and understanding. Consequently, their work often examines intersectionality of race and gender and the power of individuality. Megumi received a B.F.A. in Musical Theater from the University of Michigan. They are a mixed-race artist and continue to research the complex histories and sometimes, isolating experiences of the growing population of multi-racial Americans.
