Megumi has directed around the country and been an Associate to Broadway directors and choreographers on a variety of theatrical projects. Their efficiency, can-do attitude, and strong communication skills have caused them to be a sought after director with emerging playwrights. Additionally, Megumi has directed 8 produced readings and workshops in New York City since Spring of 2023. They have been the resident associate director of 92NY's Lyrics and Lyricists series in Manhattan for three seasons where they have worked with on over nine productions, executing each director's unique visions in a quick, fast-paced rehearsal process.​
